MUAS’ Orientation Highlights

Orientation

Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary held an orientation program to welcome both new and old students on June 3, 2019 at 10 am. Pr. Muna Paul, Myanmar Union President, gave a message of encouragements to all the students as well as members of staff. His sharing was based on the following Bible texts: Luke 19:13-27 (Those who obey rules and regulations fulfill the assigned jobs from God and he will bless you more), Joshua 24:22 (Serve the Lord and be faithful), and Romans 8:28 (God has a plan to bless and prepare everything for those who love Him).

In his speech, he mentioned that as a student, one needs to decide what he/she wants to be. He warned the students not to take God given time watching television or movies but to be industrious and productive that they may be called faithful and good servants. He further went on to mention that God gives people time, talents, and opportunities that ought to be used wisely for them to prosper in life and for the benefit of their families and communities. Great and noble duties will be assigned to those who are loyal and hardworking. He urged the students to be patient and humble because they are being trained at MUAS to be good and exemplary Christian leaders.

The orientation program included the introduction of new students, each of the department head, faculty members with their responsibilities, and concluded with welcoming new faculty and farewell to departing faculty.
